Commentaries Description   Please notice that the flat is “ready to live in”. The flat, the furniture and the equipment are brand new (renovated in March 2010). Kitchenware are provided in the flat. The flat is very bright and covers a space of 35 sqm, including a separate bedroom, a living room opened to a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and separate toilet. There are one large bed of 160 x 200cm and a sofa bed of 140 x 200cm. An extra mattress can be added for a 5th guest and a baby cot (10 Euros per day). A Service Pack (including the linen, cleaning and some cleaning supplies) of 45 € is to be added for this flat. Touristic Infos   This new flat is located in Paris in the area of the great garden of Buttes Chaumont. It’s the 3rd largest garden of the 426 gardens of Paris, after the Park of the Villette and the Tuileries Garden. The nearest Metro stations are “Jourdain” (3 minutes walking), “Place des Fêtes” (3 minutes) and “Botzaris” (1 minute). There are many shops nearby : bakeries, coffee bars, restaurants, supermarket, chocolate shop, pharmacies, … on rue de Belleville. Approximate durations from the apartment to the main tourist attractions : - 10 minutes to arrive at the area of Republique and the Canal Saint Martin (registered historic monument) - 15 minutes to the Seine river, the area of Montorgueil (area with a village environment of international reputation which attracts by its trendy numerous trades, coffee bars and restaurants) or the area of the Marais (ancient quarter of the nobility and nowadays a fashionable quarter) - 15 minutes to the area of Bastille (place to go in the evening and night for bars, restaurants and night clubs) - 20 minutes to the area of Montmartre (a village in Paris) and its Sacred-Heart Basilica - 20 minutes to the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame de Paris cathedral or the street Mouffetard for a travel in the past ; it’s one of the most ancient streets of Paris with its multiple traditional shops : butchery, cheese dairy, bakery, grocery, fish shop, ... Coffee bars of Place de la Contrescarpe (at the end of the street Mouffetard) are opened until 4 am. - 25 minutes to Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe. The area is quiet and safe.
